Description
Inspired by the welcoming pine, this hairpin reflects resilience, openness, and enduring grace.
In Chinese cultural imagery, the pine tree is admired for its strength, longevity, and unwavering presence. The welcoming pine, in particular, embodies warmth and generosity—standing firm through changing seasons while extending an open, graceful form.
This design distills the branching silhouette of the pine into a sculptural motif, carved using traditional techniques and reimagined in a refined, contemporary hairpin form. Quiet yet expressive, it brings a sense of calm strength and understated elegance to everyday wear.
NATURAL HORN CARE & MAINTENANCE
To preserve the natural beauty of horn, keep your piece away from water, prolonged direct sunlight, and impact. Remove jewelry before vigorous activity or exercise. About once every 30 days, apply a light coat of care oil to condition the surface and maintain its luster.

Craftsmanship
Hand-Carved by Heritage Horn Masters
Each piece is hand-carved in collaboration with master horn artisans in China, whose techniques have been refined over generations.
We work with discarded goat horn—a natural byproduct material—and transform it through traditional hand-carving into sculptural jewelry and hair adornments. It may not feel perfect or pristine. What it is, is intentional: a way of honoring material, minimizing waste, and continuing craft traditions with purpose.
Only dense, structurally sound horn with natural translucency is selected—chosen for quality and longevity. Before reaching its final form, the horn undergoes more than 25 meticulous processes, including cutting, shaping, carving, polishing, and finishing. The result is a luminous surface, balanced weight, and sculptural clarity.
Because horn is a natural material, no two pieces are identical—each carries its own subtle variations in tone and texture, making every piece quietly one of a kind.
